Charity scams
Hello everyone, just wanted to put everyone on notice that local TV 5 investigative reporter recently uncovered information
about a organization locally who ask for donations and contributions of behalf of our Veterans. The organization in question
is Disable Veterans Associations located in Parma Heights Ohio. Ohio Attorney General is conducting a criminal investigation
and preparing to file charges of fraud against this organization. According to their income tax records they took in millions
of dollars in donations in the past few years but only 13 cents was given to any area Veterans. Please do not confuse this
organization with Disabled American Veterans commonly known as the DAV. The DAV serves our Veterans proudly and is a real
asset to our community. Your contribution to the DAV will be passed on to our Veterans, you can rest assure that the DAV's
interest is with our Veterans. In the mean time support the DAV generously. Check back for any follow up information about
this organization.

Tribute to the troops
Greetings, a special note when you are making out your holiday cards send some to the Recovering American
Solider Program c/o Walter Reed hospital, Army medical center 6900 Georgia Way NW Washington, DC 21307-5001. Your cards will
go to returning Veterans who are undergoing medical treatment. Holidays are especially tough on Veterans who are away from
home trying to recover for their service connected injuries. This would be a great project for school kids. Thanks for your
help.
